Q. Who can participate in the Saving Lives Behavioral Modification Day Program?

A. As the name suggests, the Saving Lives Mental Health Adult Day Program can be taken up by anyone over the age of 18 who has been diagnosed with a mental disorder.

Q. Who benefit most from Saving Lives services?

A. Clients who are socially isolated, suffering from depression, psychotic disorders etc., additionally, anyone who are at risk for sexual or physical abuse; who need assistance or training in life skills; who are abusing alcohol or other drugs or substances; individuals with developmental disabilities who desire to increase their independence, add to their quality of life, and enhance their integration into the community.

Q. What are the qualifications of the on-site professionals that serve the clients?

A. Each professional member’s background, experience and personality contribute to the character of the program. We employ the services of an on-site Psychiatrist, LCSW, Physician and Certified Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Counselors (CADC). Sometimes we will utilize the services of a Mental Health Professional (MPH), Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMPH) or a Registered Nurse.

Q. What days do the Behavioral Modification program operate?

A. Currently, our on-site program is conducted five (5) days a week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 10am until 2pm. Transportation is available to and from our site. Site visits are welcomed.

Q. What is the duration of the stay in your housing referral solution?

A. Our transitional housing plan offers residency that is anywhere between three months and three years to patients.

Q. Where will they live during the course of the program?

A. Patients participating in the Saving Lives Mental Health Adult Day Program will reside in a group-home or nursing home unit. There are cases where patients may be applicable for half-way house or independent living, but this again varies on a case-by-case basis. Q. What is the purpose of your organization?

A. Saving Lives is geared at assisting individuals with mental illnesses through clinical care, behavioral strategies, coping therapies, structured activities and more. We believe in making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with mental illnesses, so they can overcome it and take charge of their lives.
